Christy Ogilvie has been living in Chicago for eleven years. She currently appears in her own act at various clubs around Chicago, as well as with many orchestras and dance bands. To name just a few, Christy has sung for Orchestra 33, the Stanley Paul Orchestra, Rich Daniels, Georgia Francis, Roy Vombrack and the Bradley Young Orchestras. She is currently appearing with The TVK Orchestra. Christy has been the “house” vocalist at The Pump Room in Chicago. A veteran of such venues as Nick’s Fishmarket, the Moosehead Bar & Grill, Burning Ambitions Cigar Club & Lounge, Luna Blu’s Starlight Lounge, The Metropole at the Fairmont Hotel, the Hancock Building’s “The 95th,” Catch 35, Gunther Murphy’s, Gentry Cabaret, Martyr’s, and the Beat Kitchen, Christy’s repertoire covers everything from Jazz standards to Pop, Motown, Rock, Country and a little bit of Blues. Christy’s first CD, titled "Loose Change", was produced by her husband, guitarist/songwriter Kraig McCreary.
